Tribute to Eugen Stamate at DTU Commemoration 2024

The Academic Council awarded the technical doctorate (Dr.Techn.) to Eugen Stamate on 9 April 2024. The technical doctorate is the highest academic distinction an engineer can achieve.

The Academic Council has awarded senior researcher Eugen Stamate, DTU Nanolab, the technical doctorate. At the DTU Commemoration 2024, he was praised for his research in plasma physics, where he, among other things, discovered a 3D plasma-sheath lens that is crucial for developing new micro- and nano-fabrication technologies.
