DTU has been named the most attractive research and development company in the Danish magazine Ingeniøren’s Profile Analysis 2020.
Every year, the publishing house Mediehuset Ingeniøren asks Danish engineers and engineering students about their knowledge and assessment of the 111 largest Danish engineering workplaces.
Once again, this year DTU came top in the ‘Research and Development’ category and ranks fifth in overall image after Novo Nordisk, LEGO, Novozymes, and Grundfos.
In the students’ top 10, DTU ranks third behind Novo Nordisk and LEGO, despite a noticeable fall under ‘Salary and Benefits’.
“Many of the respondents are former DTU alumni and therefore have intimate knowledge of the University. But we’re happy to be among the top five companies, along with big players like Novo, Lego, and Grundfos. And of course, we’re particularly proud to be rated as the best in research and development,” says President Anders Bjarklev.

A total of 4,781 respondents participated in the survey.
