No reports of personal injury on the island of Lindholm, where a fire broke out this morning.
On Tuesday morning, a fire broke out in a building at Lindholm, where the DTU Veterinary Department has previously researched infectious diseases in animals. Fire extinction is ongoing as are remediation of emergency personnel and equipment. The assessment is that there is no risk of release of biological material. There are no reports of personal injury.
The fire occurred in a building under controlled heating in connection with the decommissioning of the buildings on the island. Severe fire damage to two buildings (B24 and B28) has been identified. The fire was stopped before it reached other buildings.
