DTU has just signed an agreement with the University of British Columbia in Canada to expand their cooperation within research and education

DTU and the Canadian University of British Columbia (UBC) have agreed to strengthen their partnership in the fields of research and education.

Thanks to the agreement, up to 85 DTU students have the chance to go on exchanges each year. This makes the agreement the largest exchange agreement ever concluded by DTU. The same number of UBC students can take a semester at DTU.

Aquatics is one of the professional areas in which the two universities will join forces in terms of both research and education—within such fields as oceanography, environmental science, fisheries, zoology, and biology.

UBC is among the highest-ranking universities in the world and is—according to UBC’s own website—at 34th place in the Times Higher Education World Rankings.

UBC has more than 61,000 students, with the majority studying in Vancouver (almost 53,000), while the rest study at the Okanagan Campus.
