Once a year, DTU throws open its doors to welcome inquisitive visitors and invite them to see, touch, taste, and smell everything our University has to offer.
On Thursday, 2 March, a record-breaking 2,700 prospective students came through the doors at Open House—the largest number of visitors ever. They had ample opportunity to hear about all the different study programmes from armies of students in red DTU-shirts who were out in force to share their enthusiasm with anyone willing to listen.
Buses had been commandeered to transport prospective students from every corner of the kingdom, and as far afield as northern Germany, and deliver them to Lyngby Campus where they played with robots, compared chocolate (in the name of science), watch the antics of Science Show, and ask a myriad of questions.

Over 100 potential students joined the tour of BSc Eng in Software Technology

DTU Science Show pulled out all the stops.

During Open House, four graduates bore witness to the fact that there is live beyond DTU. Axel Tønder was one of them. He graduated with a BEng in Architectural Engineering and is now working for MOE—one of the largest providers of consulting engineering in Denmark.

Natural science is amazing…!

The members of DTU Science Show have a penchant for flames and explosions—but they seem to know what they’re doing.

It looks dangerous, but no one was hurt during this year's event.
Why have you come today?
