Study at DTU during the summer holidays

As of this summer, DTU provides 70-80 additional three-week courses in July and August to allow students to be more flexible in their studies.

The courses are held from 6-24 July and from 3-21 August.  The registration period runs from 4-17 May. However, if the course is not fully booked after the ordinary registration deadline, supplementary registration is available.

Several good reasons to study during the summer holidays
Summer University DTU is primarily intended for students who want to build up credits in advance to allow more time for other activities during the normal semesters, and for students who have dropped off the pace, or have failed exams and need to retake them. The initiative is also designed to allow students to take courses they would otherwise be unable to attend due to timetable clashes. It is also a special offer for guests from other universities or countries, people interested in continuing education—or  those who simply hate the idea of being idle all summer.

Makes it easier for students
Martin P. Bendsøe, Dean of Graduate Studies and International Affairs, am happy that the summer university is now a reality:

"We hope that many will take advantage of Summer University DTU, which will allow us to continue to offer our students a wide range of courses in July and August."
