With the new ‘DTU Nybyg’ app for iPad, you can take a closer look at the construction projects designed to create new and unique facilities for DTU’s bioscientific research.
Work is currently underway on four construction projects on DTU Lyngby Campus to provide world-class facilities for DTU’s bioscientific research and teaching. The projects are showcased in the new ‘DTU Nybyg’ app for iPad. Particular emphasis is being placed on the major Life Science & Bioengineering complex in Buildings 201–205, which constitutes DTU’s largest ongoing construction assignment. This project comprises the construction and renovation of a total of 47,000 m2 of facilities, and as from 2017 the buildings will be the shared workplace for around 800 staff from DTU Aqua, DTU Food and DTU Vet.
The app allows you to tour the Life Science & Bioengineering Buildings 201–205, meet three researchers, watch videos about their research, and read what the landscape architect intends to achieve by integrating green areas of the building complex with the other stretches of landscape on the campus.
The other construction projects covered by the app are Building 211 that houses the new laboratory facilities for DTU Chemistry, Building 220 that contains offices and laboratories for biotechnical research for DTU Biosustain, and Building 225 with its laboratories for protein research at DTU Systems Biology.
The app is available in both English and Danish. Turn your iPad from landscape to portrait and the app will automatically switch language.
