Three students receive Novozymes and Novo Nordisk scholarships

Three graduate students from DTU receive grants from Novo Nordisk and Novozymes to enable them to work full time on their theses.

The 2015 scholarships from Novo Nordisk and Novozymes amounts to DKK 1.6 million, and goes to 25 MSc students who are doing research in natural science and biotechnology at Danish universities and Lund University in Sweden. Three of the scholarships go to master’s students at DTU. Each scholarship amounts to about DKK 7,000 per months for max 12 months.

The three students from DTU are:

Anders Bech Bruntse
Thesis Title: "Network analysis and modeling of N-linked glycosylation through system Glycobiology"

Eva Stensgaard
Thesis Title: "Structural interpretation of the observed human tryptophan hydroxylase isoform specific kinetics"

Daniel Madsen
Thesis Title: "In-Bead High-Throughput Screening Technology for Profiling of Substrates for Histone Deacetylase Enzymes"
