Today, the Dean of Graduate Studies and Student Affairs, Martin P. Bendsøe welcomed 400 international MSc and 300 exchange students to DTU.
The official welcome marked the beginning of the busy introduction week, jam packed with information and social events.
During the next four days, the new international students will receive their student ID card as well as a lot of pertinent information on residence permits, study methods, and study planning. They will meet the clubs and organization at the University, tour wonderful Copenhagen, and be introduced to Danish language and culture.
The introduction week culminates on Friday evening with a dinner and party at the student house, S-Huset.
80 DTU buddies are on hand to guide the new students—not only during Introduction week but throughout the first semester.
