Nicolaou) 1983–1988 Assistant Professor, Chalmers University of Technology, Göteborg 1988–1995 Associate Professor, University of Uppsala, Sweden. 1991-1995 Personal senior research position funded by the Swedish NFR 1995 - Professor of Organic Chemistry, Technical University of Denmark Research Interests Organic chemistry, particularly stereoselective organic synthesis. Total synthesis of natural products. Organometallic chemistry and catalysis. Publications 110 papers in international, peer-reviewed journals, 2 book chapters, with a total of 2970 citations (March 2009; h-index 30). Research Supervision Supervisor or co-supervisor for 28 finalized Ph. D. projects, 14 postdoctoral fellows, and a large number of M. Sc. theses. Invited Lectures Since becoming Professor at DTU in 1995, I have been invited speaker at ca. 30 international conferences outside Denmark.
