Ecotoxicological impacts of industrial discharges, chemicals and emerging contaminants (e.g. advanced materials, nanoparticles). This includes adapting current standards and regulation to adquately assess the environmental impact, while also developing tools to support a sustainable development and use. The research includes both marine and freshwater species.
