Microbial Food Safety Foodborne Pathogens Modelling
I am a food microbiologist focused on foodborne pathogens in food production chains. Generally, my research area covers food safety management, and quantitative food microbiology including both predictive food microbiology and quantitative microbiological risk assessment. I am currently interested in emerging risks in plant-based food, e.g., Bacillus cereus sensu lato including B. thuringensis and their toxin production in plant-based food.
