The Industry Master of Science combines work and studies. It’s an ideal option if you want to learn and gain valuable insights into the industry while pursuing a master’s degree at DTU.
DTU offers the opportunity to join an Industry MSc in all programmes.

The Industry MSc follows a 1+2 structure, where you complete 120 ECTS points over a three-year period. During these three years you will spend your time both as a student and as a part-time employee at a company.

During your first year, you will be a full-time student while your second and third year consist of a mix of studies and a 25-hour workweek at a company, where you will be a part-time, paid employee.

The Industry MSc is also offered as a 4-year programme.

Pre-requisites

You must hold a qualifying bachelor’s degree to apply for our Industry MSc programmes. In addition, you must have a job that is relevant to your studies, where you can work at least 25 hours a week on average over a year, or you may be self-employed at a start-up company.
