General electives

Electives, i.e. courses not counting as general competences or technological specializations in the MSc Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, present a valuable opportunity to combine the chemical and biochemical engineering courses with courses representing elements of advanced mathematics, chemistry, physics, management, and adjoining technological areas. In addition to the examples given above in relation to two of the program's focus areas, other DTU-courses may have general applicability to an education in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. The following examples only of electives show the range and variety of relevant courses available among DTU's MSc type courses.
