Engineering knowledge boosts the competitiveness of small businesses

Thanks to its experienced specialists, DTU has contributed to boosting competence levels in more than 50 small businesses on Zealand. Now, the hope is to be able to continue the initiative as a nationwide programme.

  • The KomLøft Sjælland project took place between 2020-2022.
  • DTU Engineering Technology headed up the initiative, and the collaboration included the business organizations Sorø Erhverv, Næstved Erhverv, Business Faxe, and Stevns Erhvervsråd.
  • 58 SMEs received assistance.
  • The businesses had between 1 and 130 employees.
  • KomLøft was financed by the EU and the Danish Board of Business Development.
