In this compact 1½ hour lecture you will learn:

• How to use your international profile to your advantage
• How to find companies in your area that match your profile and academic interests
• How to build your professional network
• How to be proactive and approach companies yourself - instead of waiting for posted positions where you have to compete with your peers.
• How to contact relevant companies and how to present your interest in applying for a student job.
• The methods focuses on making students efficient in job search and networking for professional opportunities, and the lecture will be followed up by 2 troubleshooting sessions, where you can get additional help and guidance to reach your goal of landing a student job

All methods and recommendations have been developed by the lecturer B.Sc. Pernille From Hansen over the past 15 years, with a focus on balancing fast results with a workload that is realistic to execute, while being a fulltime student at DTU.
