Cell Therapy - Specialization
The candidate that follows the cell therapy spesialization will be specialised in a growing therapeutic area involving living materials such as stem cells or immune cells. The area of regenerative medicine includes tissue engineering, and therefore also choice of materials to build 3D tissues. Cell therapy may in the future also involve a combination of gene therapy of stem cells. The candidate will also specialise on developing advanced in vitro models for drug development and personalised medicine

Specializations are merely recommended ways of choosing the courses in the curriculum. Applicants are not admitted to a specialization but to the programme and it is possible to choose among all the courses in the curriculum following the directions given. However, if a specialization has been fulfilled the title of the specialization may be added to the diploma.
