Elective Courses

Elective Courses are any advanced level courses at DTU as well as courses from other universities with credit transfer to DTU. They can be in areas such as:

•    Non-program courses to obtain scientific skills on an advanced level (statistics, computation, advanced chemistry, microbiology, courses at DTU Aqua etc.)
Additional technological specialization courses or external program courses with the objective of obtaining further specialization within a selected area or broadening the environmental scope of the study plan
Master students may choose as much as 10 credit points among the bachelor courses at DTU and courses at an equivalent level from other higher institutions.

Additional suggestions can be found in the list of study tracks provided on the homepage of the MSc programme. We recommend the following courses to students who intend to complete a laboratory project for their MSc thesis:

12138 Environmental Microbiology II 5 point Spring F5B (Wed 13-17)
12231 Applied Analytical Environmental Chemistry 5 point August
