What can I do with an MSc in Ocean Engineering

The Ocean Engineering programme provides candidates with a unique set of components that are highly sought after in various marine engineering sectors.

These competences include knowledge of the physical challenges in constructing off shore installations, developing technologies for both surface and underwater observations, describing and modelling interactions with the natural marine environment, and the ability evaluate the sustainability of engineering activities across a broad range of metrics.

Career in Research and Development

Graduating the MSc programme with a high grade point average qualifies you for admission to PhD studies—either as an industrial PhD with concurrent employment in a company, or as a regular PhD student.
