Office for Research, Advice and Innovation
The Office for Research, Advice and Innovation (AFRI) is tasked with providing support for researchers and aiding DTU’s cross-cutting cooperation with companies, authorities and international alliances. The office runs physical platforms and programmes that form part of DTU’s innovation ecosystem. It also ensures access to information resources and support for the Open Science agenda, and handles a number of group tasks, for example in relation to legislation and GDPR.
The office’s tasks include:
- Funding from national and international research programmes and foundations
- International alliances
- Providing scientific advice to Danish and international authorities
- Public-private collaboration and business-sector development
- Commercialization of DTU’s inventions
- Legal and contract assistance
- Library service and research documentation
The office is headed by Jakob Fritz Hansen and comprises the following groups:
