Impact in Many Ways – CoARA at DTU

DTU’s research and innovation should contribute to a stronger, more sustainable and democratic Europe and benefit as many people as possible. That is why DTU is developing a modern, internationally oriented research culture in which excellence and societal impact go hand in hand.

Building on the CoARA principles, the Impact in many ways – CoARA at DTU programme is developing the framework for a transparent, inclusive and future-proof approach to research assessment and researcher development.

Implementing more transparent and equitable frameworks for development and recognition will help DTU attract and retain international talent. At the same time, DTU aims to strengthen researchers’ opportunities for professional and career development and provide the best possible conditions for international mobility and research funding.

Five sub-projects

The programme’s five sub-projects translate the CoARA principles into practice across DTU. Together, they are developing and implementing the structures and practices needed to make more holistic assessment and recognition criteria an integral part of DTU’s research culture.
