International collaboration
International cooperation is an integral part of DTU's work and a prerequisite for DTU's status as an international elite university. A status that is secured and continuously developed through the work carried out by researchers, students and staff.
Internationalization and international collaboration are actively supported to provide researchers and lecturers, staff and students with the best conditions for entering into collaborations with leading technical universities from around the world.
DTU takes an active part in many different networks and projects around the world. The goal of DTU's international collaboration is to make use of joint complementary forces within education, innovation and research. This is done through the development of common practices, facilitation of external funding, encouragement of collaboration with industry and by increasing the mobility of students, academic staff and the administration.
Through international cooperation, DTU can achieve greater influence and visibility. It creates attention, trust and respect to collaborate with other well-known, technical universities.
