The teaching on the Bachelor of Engineering programmes at the Ballerup Campus is just like at DTU’s other campuses: you will receive plenty of hands-on teaching and work with concrete technological solutions.
You will be taught by dedicated lecturers who will guide you towards a Bachelor of Engineering degree with their knowledge of relevant research.
All of DTU’s Bachelor of Engineering programmes, many of which are based at the Ballerup Campus, are characterised by close industry collaboration. You will experience frequent visits from the business world, even before your internship.
During your studies, you will take the Innovation Pilot course, in which you will collaborate with students from other disciplines on a case study provided by a company.
The course culminates in 'DEMO Day', where you will pitch your solution to the business community. The best solutions will be celebrated at an awards ceremony.

If you’re interested in electronics, you can join the Electronics Club. If you want to celebrate the end of the week with your fellow students, you can enjoy a beer or soft drink over a game of table football at Verners, the Friday bar.
The campus is situated in green surroundings near Sømosen in Ballerup. During the summer months in particular, students use the area for activities such as picnics, disc golf, outdoor training, and jogging.
You can catch a direct bus right next to the campus to DTU Lyngby Campus, where you can spend your free time doing everything from pottery to climbing and choir.

DTU Ballerup Campus covers 42,000 square metres and is characterised by its 21 high-tech laboratories.
As well as laboratories specializing in robotics, metalwork, woodwork and prototyping, the campus is home to a range of facilities that enable students to engage with technology in a hands-on way, including 3D printing and laser cutting.
Alongside the many modern laboratories, the campus also houses a canteen, a bookshop, teaching facilities, and group rooms.
The five sections that make up the campus are connected by a long, bright communal area with skylights, sofa seating, and living trees, making it a pleasant place for both studying and relaxing.
