The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) is a public technical university located in the city of Mumbai in western India. It was founded in 1958 as part of 5 technical universities to support the development of India. Today, IIT Bombay is one of the top technical universities in India with alumni working all over the world.
Purpose of the collaboration
In 2023 DTU and IIT Bombay entered a strategic partnership with the purpose of working together across education, innovation and research.

The collaboration is connected to the Indo-Danish Green Strategic Partnership that aims to deliver on ambitious climate and sustainable energy goals and support India’s massive green transition process.
