North Carolina State University – NC State

Purpose

In 2023 DTU signed a strategic partnership agreement with NC State, a well-recognized public university with its main campus in Raleigh, North Carolina, in an area with top three concentration of life science companies in USA. The area (Research Triangle) is a known ecosystem with strong research communities as well as manufacturing plants for both Novozymes and Novo Nordisk.

Activities

  • Internships for BEng students
  • Lifelong Learning
  • Industry (part-time) MSc in Kalundborg
  • Future research projects

Initially there is a strong research focus on biotech related topics, with point of departure in Biomanufacturing. We also work on topics as diverse as future foods, CO2 emissions reduction and wind technologies.
