When you have special needs (SPS) and need to apply for admission to DTU, you can apply for admission in several ways.
- Apply for pre-approval of admission to a study programme – application deadline March 15 at noon You can apply to be pre-approved for admission to a study programme at DTU. Please note that the deadline to apply for pre-approval of admission is March 15 at noon (just like the quota 2 deadline).

To apply for pre-approval for admission to DTU, you must meet a number of requirements. Read more about the possibility of being pre-approved for admission to DTU
If you are pre-approved for admission to DTU, you will be offered a study place before July 26. This means that SPS can be applied for well in advance of your study start, so that SPS support can be established earlier in your first semester.
Please contact the Special Educational Support Office (via email or phone) when you have been pre-approved for a study programme at DTU and have accepted the study place. Support can start no earlier than August.
Once you are admitted to DTU and your study place has been transferred to DTU's system, we can apply for SPS for you. We can apply at the beginning of August at the earliest.
You can contact the Special Educational Support Office via our SPS inquiry portal, email, or phone, and you must notify us yourself when you need to apply for SPS. You can apply for SPS via our SPS inquiry portal as soon as you have your student number. See the section: "How to apply for SPS".
